Excellent service. Scheduling was a breeze – they came out the day after booking the appointment, and replaced a faucet quickly and seamlessly. They also saved us from purchasing a new motor for our disposal. Much appreciated!

Signs your garbage disposal needs a plumber
Humming But Won’t Spin
The motor runs but the blades don’t turn — almost always a jam. We clear it and reset the unit; if the motor’s burned out, we replace it.
Won’t Turn On At All
No sound, no movement. Could be a tripped reset, a bad switch, or a dead motor. We test in order from cheapest fix to most expensive.
Leaking Under the Sink
Water pooling in the cabinet means a cracked housing, worn seal, or a loose drain connection. Often it’s time for a new unit — we’ll show you why.
Won’t Drain / Backing Up
Water sits in the sink even with the disposal running. Could be the disposal, could be the drain line past it. We diagnose both.
Rotten Smell from the Drain
Rotting food packed into a worn-out grinding chamber or a partial clog the unit can no longer clear. We pull it apart, clean it out, and fix what’s letting food build up in the first place.
Loud Grinding or Rattling
Metal-on-metal noise means something hard got in there, or a blade has broken loose. Keep using it and you’ll damage the motor — we fix it before it costs you a full replacement.

Same-day diagnostic visit
A licensed plumber comes out the same day (call before noon). We check the disposal, the switch, the wiring, and the drain line underneath. Dispatch fee is waived when you book online.
Your written price and options
We tell you exactly what’s wrong and give you two prices in writing: the cost to repair (if possible) and the cost to replace. Your $50 off applies either way. You decide — no pressure, no rushed quote.
We fix it or replace it — today
Most repairs and replacements are done in one visit. We install your new disposal, test it with running water, and clean up. If your sink drain is the real culprit, we’ll handle that too with a separate written estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most repairs (clearing a jam, replacing a switch, resetting the motor) run $250–$450 before your $50 off. A full disposal replacement — unit included — runs $650–$900 depending on horsepower and brand (a basic 1/3 HP Badger is the low end; a 1 HP InSinkErator Evolution is the high end). With $50 off and dispatch fee waived, a typical replacement lands around $600–$850 all-in; premium high-horsepower units can run a bit higher. You see the exact written price before we start — no surprises at the door.
Humming-without-spinning is almost always a jam — something hard wedged between the blades. About 70% of the time we clear it, reset the motor, and you’re done. The other 30% of the time the motor itself is burned out and the unit needs replacing. We diagnose first and tell you which it is before charging anything beyond the (waived) dispatch fee.
Depends on where it’s leaking from. A leak from the top (where it meets the sink) usually means a worn plumbers putty seal — repairable. A leak from the side or bottom of the unit itself usually means cracked housing or a corroded internal seal — at that point replacement is more cost-effective than repair. We’ll show you the source and explain both options.
Yes. For larger jobs (replacement + drain line repair, or premium units), we offer financing through GreenSky with approval in about two minutes. Most disposal-only jobs are small enough that customers pay at the visit, but financing is available if you want it.
A diagnostic plus jam clear or simple repair is usually 30–60 minutes. A full disposal replacement takes about 60–90 minutes, including testing under running water. We give you a time window when you book and stick to it.
Repair makes sense when the unit is under ~7 years old, the motor still runs, and the housing isn’t leaking. Replacement makes sense when the motor’s burned out, the unit is corroded or cracked, or it’s old enough that paying for a repair only delays the inevitable. We always quote both when both are options — your decision.
